
Katie O’Callaghan is an award-winning Arts for Health Specialist with over 20 years’ experience in healthcare, including Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and CAMHS. A member of the National Arts in Hospitals Network (NAHN), Katie’s work has been published in their Arts in Hospitals Guidance, and she is also part of the Northern Powerhouse Network.
As Co-founder and Director of You’re Invited, a Creative Arts for Health organisation, Katie leads national and international programmes that promote resilience, wellbeing, and personal growth. Her experience includes delivering Creative Inclusion training for the BBC, alongside professional development in coaching and mental health.
Katie specialises in youth work, creative facilitation, and wellbeing education, with a trauma-informed and youth-centred approach. She designs and delivers creative interventions that build emotional literacy, healthy relationships, and self-awareness among young people.
Known for her energy, empathy, and commitment to inclusion, Katie is a trusted practitioner dedicated to creating safe, engaging spaces where young people can explore identity, relationships, and mental wellbeing.
