Working with young people

About Working with Professionals and Parents

Supporting young people with confidence, empathy and understanding starts with equipping the adults around them. We recognise that teachers, parents, and professionals often want to help — but may not always feel confident or prepared to have sensitive conversations about relationships, sexual health, and personal wellbeing.

Our bespoke training packages are designed to upskill and empower adults, giving them the tools, knowledge and confidence to support, signpost and respond effectively to the young people in their care.

We believe the conversation doesn’t end when a young person session finishes. After any training or workshop, young people still need reassurance, guidance, and safe adults they can turn to. Our work ensures that those adults feel ready and capable to continue the dialogue, offering informed, compassionate support that makes a real difference.

Our training is tailored to the needs of your service or organisation and can help:

Build confidence in delivering Relationship and Sex Education (RSE).
Clarify the law relating to sex, relationships, and consent.
Deepen understanding of the many factors influencing the decisions young people make.
Explore boundaries when discussing relationships and sex with young people.
Encourage reflection on personal values and attitudes, and how these may influence your approach.
Provide creative and practical strategies for covering a range of sensitive topics.
Offer opportunities to plan and practice delivering sessions with young people.
Identify and address common barriers to providing effective, impactful support.
Strengthen confidence in signposting to local services and resources.

All training is holistic, needs led and grounded in respect, delivered with the same inclusive ethos as our young person programmes, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based content that is both practical and relevant.

Training is led by Rachel, Karen and Ben, supported by our highly skilled team of sessional workers who bring specialist expertise across a wide range of topics. Together, we create safe, supportive learning spaces that encourage reflection, confidence, and real growth.
