Resilience is about ‘bouncing back’ from what life throws at us. It is about being strong inside and able to adapt well to changes and difficulties. It is about flourishing in life, despite our circumstances.

Resilient people have improved capacity to deal with life’s challenges. Resilient people are in better health and they are happier and more fulfilled. Resilient people are also less likely to develop emotional problems like depression or anxiety

Building Personal Resilience is a half day programme designed to help individuals understand and recognise their own stress, and using practical techniques equip them to proactively build resilience.

This 4 or 7.5 hour programme is designed to:
  • Define what personal resilience is
  • Identify what causes you stress
  • Explain the attributes required for being Personally Resilient
  • Identify how Personally Resilient you are
  • Identify how you can change to be more resilient in everyday life
  • Explain how you can manage your own stress in the future practical tools for dealing with stress.
This programme is targeted at any young people who:
  • Are looking to develop their resilience particularly in times of change or transition
  • Are working in high-pressured environments looking to explore ways to deal with setbacks and move on from them.
  • Want to develop a high performing, supportive culture and environment.
  • Feel they could benefit from being better equipped to bounce back from failure, setbacks or adversity.
